A native of Newton county, Richard has served Harvest as Senior Pastor since May of 2002. An effective communicator of the gospel, Richard's desire is for all to come to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and to grow in a personal relationship with Him as well as equipping believers to share their faith with others.
Richard is a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, GA. He and his wife Kim have two sons, Clint and Alex.

Robbie serves as our Associate Pastor, leading our Family Life and Student ministries. Robbie is a graduate of Georgia Perimeter College and Luther Rice University. Robbie also leads local middle and high school campus outreach ministries. His desire and prayer is that families live strong for God and that they leave a godly legacy for future generations.
Robbie is married to Bethany. They have two children: one son, Cole and one daughter, Annabeth.

Dean and Karen Dawson come to Harvest after spending 7+ years serving as director of Bethel Christian Mission in Newport, Jamaica. The ministry is heavily involved in training national pastors and lay leaders. They were also involved in developing discipleship training programs for local churches and facilitating short term mission teams that assist in ministering in the public schools, summer VBS programs, and evangelism at various sites in the community.
Dean will be assisting our administration efforts and will be coordinating local & international missions endeavors for Harvest Baptist Church.
Dean is a graduate of Luther Rice University. He and Karen have two grown sons and 4 grandchildren.

Gene Crawford serves as Minister of Pastoral Care which includes in home and hospital visitation to those in need. A prayer warrior, Gene offers prayer and encouragement to all he ministers to.
Gene and his wife Mary Judith reside in Covington.

Christy loves children. You can observe this when she is caring for little ones and organizing our nursery. Christy has taught elementary school aged children and currently is a stay at home mom with her daughter Mary and son, Michael.
Christy and her husband Kelly live in Covington.

Mike has a passion for sharing his faith the way Jesus did - outreach and discipleship, moving and making faith filled Christians for God's glorious kingdom. He has a burden for reaching the lost. Mike is married to Joyce and has three children: Allena, Bailey & Max.
