"What can I expect from the morning worship celebration?"
You can expect friendly smiles, a warm greeting, and genuine worship of God from genuine people just like you.
Our worship service includes wonderful praise form our Harvest worship band, choir, vocal soloists, and YOU! Messages are straight from God's Word which challenge and encourage the listener in his daily walk with Christ. This is the time for our community to gather together for a great time of worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
"Why do you call it a worship celebration instead of a service?"
Because that's what we are doing. We're celebrating Jesus Christ, all who He is, and what He means to us.
"What is your worship style?"
Sundays are days of celebration through music, prayer, bible study, and the preaching of God’s Word. Our worship style is fun and enthusiastic. We encourage everyone to participate and be an active part of our worship celebrations. We understand that people worship in different ways. Some people clap their hands, others raise their hands, some sing louder than others, others are more quiet & stationary. However you worship is acceptable.
Our Blended Service includes more of the classic traditional hyms and some newer praise anthems mixed together.
"What do I need to wear?"
Dress is up to you. Our concern is your desire to come and worship God just as you are.
"If I visit, will you make me stand up in front of everybody? That makes me feel weird."
No. As you arrive at Harvest a member of our greeting team will welcome you as you enter the church. Information regarding Sunday School, nursery care, and other ministry locations will be made available if you desire.
There is a guest information card inside the bulletin in which we ask all guests to fill out so we can have a record of the visit with us. All we ask is that guests drop this card in the offering plate as it comes by. We consider it an honor that guests choose to be with us!
"Where can I take my kids?"
We offer a nursery for newborns to children under 3 years of age. We also offer Children's Church for kids ages 3 through 3rd grade.
"Can I speak with the pastor and other ministers after worship?"
Of course! Pastor Richard, Robbie, Dean, Gene, Mike, or Christy would love to personally meet guests at the conclusion of worship. We have a guest reception in room #105 after every Sunday morning service where first time visitors will receive a special gift and have the opportunity to meet our staff.
